Nice warm old farmhouse. The managers were very friendly and cooked great food. It was quite far on a bad dust road from Maclear but totally worth it. Our son could ride his plastic bike around and we felt safe, comfortable and accommodated for.

This is where you go to get away from it all. Picturesque setting and truly welcoming people, it has the benefit of not having any cell reception. Wifi is free, but this is not the place to try and surf the web. Revel in the isolation, while connecting with real people.I deeply regret that my stay was as brief as it was. The old style wood burning stove in the kitchen offers a return to a time where such things as televisions were shunned and personal conversation was the true measure of enjoyment.

Such a beautiful surrounding. The owners are so friendly, we had a lovely stay and we can recommend it to everyone. You can also buy the most chicken friendly eggs :) Thank you so much for the stay and the lovely food you prepared for us.

A lovely, quiet setting. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. Just be careful, the dirt road between Maclear and the farm was really bad when we visited. It took us about an hour to drive the 14km in our Ford Figo in the rain.

Linky is a very hospitable host. Beautiful setting at the bottom of PG Bison signal hill. Cattle & sheep grazing in the fields.

What an incredibly beautiful and peaceful place to unwind. Sebastian is an absolute star. It’s totally worth the effort and with the road fixed you can easily make it in a car.

One of those best kept secret places. Accommodation is excellent, the food was brilliant, even the take away breakfast was packed with care. The hosts Linkey and Jan went out of their way to help us. Value for money.

We stayed at that comfortable and lonley place over NewYears Eve, in the old farmhouse, furnished like a house to live in and not only holiday accomodation, with a piano, old kitchen stove, etc. in the middle of a beautiful garden with huge old trees. Fantastic scenery with possibilities to hike and walk, surrounded by pastures with horses and cattle. Outstandig Braai facility, even when the weather is not so nice. Thank you Linkey for the warm welcome and always making sure we had everything we need.

My overnight stay was a great experience because of the excellent personalised service and great country cooking provided. The scenic off-the-beaten-track country setting makes for memorable photographs. The hosts went out of their way to make me feel welcome and catered for my specific dietary requirements in a 5 star fashion.
