I understand that companies are still trying to work around this pandemic and this has caused alot of deferred applicants for programs abroad but goldkey was the absolute worst when dealing with me. After I sent them confirmation of my application they acknowledged it but I waited 3months for them to get back to me. They invited me on Skype but that was it - no message, no call, just no information. I sent Cliff a text a month later trying to find out what the status of my application was because most applicants were receiving either interview requests or rejection emails. Sadly I was blatantly ignored. After a while, people were getting placement emails from the program and I still had nothing 5 months later. I mailed GKey and YunOck Jeong's response was this term is externally hard. I advise you get more teaching experience then apply for private language programs it would be easier for you to get EPIK program in future".The sad thing is she clearly didn't go through my application because it states I have 4 years worth of teaching experience. I asked if they could perhaps help with the private programs since they claim on their website that they offer these. Again

GoldKey Education did a fantastic job in assisting us with obtaining teaching placements in South Korea. My wife and I have been so happy the last few months and strongly recommend anyone to take up this work and travel opportunity. Carpe diem.

I am not sure if I was just unlucky, but I had the worst experience with Goldkey education. they are unprofessional & their lack of communication is appalling. YunOck, especially, is arrogant & rude. I had applied for the EPIK program through goldkey & I was a first time applicant. They did not communicate with me until a few hours before my interview with EPIK. I was not even informed that my application had granted me the interview. Apparently, there was a whatsapp group that was made for all those that passed the initial stage and were to have interviews. In this group were the date & time of interview. I was never added to the group so i had no clue when I was scheduled for an interview. Imagine my shock & panic when I received a message from YunOck asking if I'm ready for my interview that's about to take place in a few hours. I had requested to reschedule it as I felt it was unfair that the interview was sprung upon me in such an abrupt manner.Fast forward to the mock interview that I had with YunOck before the actual EPIK interview. Now, there is a HUGE difference between constructive criticism, and being downright rude. YunOck was downright rude. firstly, she had forgotten about our mock interview & I had to remind her that I was waiting for her to join on Skype. when she did arrive, she displayed a bad attitude throughout and made me feel inadequate & as if I was a lost cause. She constantly shook her head negatively, made some unnecessarily rude comments, and appeared as if she was frustrated and ready to leave. She told me we will have another quick mock right before my EPIK interview, but I did not hear from her again & was ignored. Did I mention this was my first time applying? That mock interview had completely destroyed my confidence and unfortunately, I did not pass the EPIK interview. I used a different (and much more professional) recruiter, I passed the interview & got a job in SK immediately. Now, I am in no way blaming Goldkey for me not passing the EPIK interview. However, the lack of communication, the arrogance & the unprofessionalism are absolutely pathetic & atrocious. again, there is a difference between constructive criticism and rudeness. constructive criticism I will glady accept. I will even ask for it as I know it will improve overall performance. However, rudeness & disrespect I cannot stand for. one star is way too generous. I would definitely not recommend this agency, especially if you are a first time applicant.

Incredibly helpful and hands-on in assisting South African residents with applications to teach English in South Korea. Can't recommend them highly enough!
