The Tulbagh Hotel

Great service, and nice menu. We had just a small meal from their lights menus and was well satisfied. Great value as well.

I stayed at the Tulbach Hotel twice recently, and found the rooms comfortable and the staff some of the friendliest I have met: they made me feel like family. The meals were good, with various options for seating, whether choosing the outside patio under the trees on a balmy evening, or the dining room or bar area on cooler evenings, all of which have good ambiance.

My husband and I had lunch on the terrace at The Tulbach Hotel. The beautiful big tree was perfect to set a relaxing atmosphere to the terrace. The service was excellent. We were astonished to learn that the waitress was new, because she knew the menu well. The food was divine - I forgot to take a picture when it was served. I loved the variety of non-alcoholic cocktails. Their milkshakes and freshly sqeezed juices are also recommended. We had a lovely time and will definitely be returning.

Tulbagh Hotel Gorgeous buildings and fantastic food. Staff was very hospitable and efficient. The amenities were great. The room was wonderful and clean.We had a wonderful experience at the Tulbagh Hotel for 2 days withthe awesome package: breakfast + dinner +wine tasting +olives in the neighboring wine estates. Being downtown allowed us to explore the history of Tulbagh in Church street at our own pace.

Wow, just wow!!!10/10 for every aspect of hospitality and food.Will definitely plan another visit in the near future, Pure salt of the earth staff for whom nothing was too much, a place where service is still the main priority. Well done Tulbagh Hotel!!

We enjoyed the Sunday Roast, which was a very homely, well prepared meal. Sunday lunch time at the hotel has a nice vibe with many locals visiting. If you want to sit on the veranda outside, it is better to book. Good selection of wines, also available per glass. Thank you for accommodating Sophia, our foxie. ❤️

Met a friend for lunch. The ladies had fish, and I had a pizza. We all complemented the staff for a memorable lunch. Great food and excellent staff. Always friendly

Just. Wow! This hotel is the business, it is beautifully done, with a touch of history in place, the food is unreal (vegan bowl, duck spring rolls and pizza) just mouthwatering! The staff are unbelievably attentive and friendly and any hotel that offers filter coffee in the room and instant is a hero in my eyes. A lovely view from the back rooms, a very pretty town but not very safe so be very smart when you leave the hotel walls.

The Hotel itself is really great looked after. We arrived early with our little baby and we could relax by the pool until the room was ready. We were also happy with our room!The only disappointment was the food:We waited for our lunch for over 45min (while only 2-3 other tables were busy). When the food arrived, you could almost not see the burger because of all the mayo. My partner shared the feedback with the waiter when she asked how the food was. The waiter didn't react to it and just walked off.The next morning we were the first ones at breakfast. It took them over 45min to make 2 omelets. Not only did they forget our fruit bowl order but we found a tiny piece of glass in the food.Again, when we shared the feedback (this time different waiter) there was no reaction on trying to apologize in the name of the hotel.
