First time here... beautiful, peaceful and relaxed setting, our food was great and the service was excellent... our two yorkies got so much attention, a bed, treats etc, very pet friendly environment, will definitely be back, well done Doghouse Cafe... keep it up

One of the best eating experiences we have had. Everything is made fresh like the Lamb curry pies and the ox tail pies. The craft beer, gin and rum, yes craft rum, was exceptionally good. All available for sampling and to purchase for taking home

The doghouse was amazing, from being greeted by a very friendly waitress, to my dogs getting water, treats and beds and not to forget the food. I will definitely go back and recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Absolutely awesome place. Had a great walk around to stretch our legs and then the most amazing lunch and super craft beer.The boneless oxtail hotpot, done in beer, was the best I have ever tasted. The crust was crisp, and just so very light and melt-in-your-mouth. Also Unbelievable roasted vegetables.Chris had a hamburger which was so succulent and delicious to go with his craft beer.Fantastic service and the friendliest of staff make this a great place for a pit-stop.And of course it’s pet-friendly.

Nice atmosphere, good idea behind the restaurant but mediocre execution - the running of the restaurant is badly organised. The food orders, while fairly simple variations on bacon and eggs, were all mixed up and missing components. The service was very, very slow, even if the staff seemed nice it felt as if asking for something was a nuisance. We spent an hour and a half here and only ate in the last twenty minutes, and then the food wasn't even what we ordered. It came out slowly; the first person was finished long before the last person was served. The open area where the pizzas are made was swarmed with flies, which was very unappetizing. The beer we tasted was underwhelming. I think the place has charm and potential but everyone needs training in how to properly run a restaurant.

Restaurant with fast and friendly service. Basset Breweries beer tasting and sales. Enjoyed our home made pies and pizza. Ample parking available. Seating indoors or shaded outside. Bass fishing allowed in the dam. Kids play area and swings. Pet friendly

Delighted to go back to my favourite pizza place on the coast! As always the pizza was delicious! Today I also had a cheesecake. The topping was as light as a mousse with a lovely, slightly crumbly base. Perfection in a slice!

This place epitomizes laid back South Coast living. Nestled in a beautiful setting, it speaks to just chilling, enjoyed the live music, and unwinding. We had an enjoyable breakfast. I love that it is pet friendly, and the fur babies are welcomed with open arms. Waitrons are super friendly, as is the owner.

Very nice setting. Dog friendly. Unfortunately, we didn't stay to eat as our dogs were getting to be a handful. Maybe next time, they will be older and better socially.

Always pleasent to do beer tasting.Pot pies are amazing, just takes a bit long but understandable as they are made to order.Only downside is that they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
