Friendly beach with amazing, unfamiliar views of Chapman's Peak and Hout Bay. Plenty of kelp and cut out waves on the beach break.

Lekker surf. Good surf in Winter months, however this spot stays pretty active throughout the whole year ( less in summer months)

Plenty of Big waves to be had, not for the faint of heart. Had great fun here - good parking if you're patient, just bring slippers as the tar gets very hot.

Nice easy waves, generally in the 3 - 4 foot range. Can be very crowded at times with incidents of people riding over others in the water. I've been a victim thrice in the last few years with a novice on a longboard putting me in hospital where I underwent reconstructive surgery and was out of the water for 3 months. The break can safely handle 20-30 surfers on an average day, but often there's double that these days with a number of pretty clueless European novices getting in the way of late. My advice, don't paddle out if there are 40 or more guys in the water.
