Not a great experience. Five of us arrived asking for a table to be told ‘we are full’ despite 80% seats being empty .. eventually offered table. Set menu ok but nothing special .. Restaurant stayed mostly unoccupied. When asked why we were told full we were told due to guests that didn’t turn up!!

Would highly recommend eating at Oku, what a lovely experience. The Kaiseki menu was fantastic, well worth the money. They have a great wine list too. The staff were friendly and very attentive. The manager has a great knowledge of wine and recommend a great red for us. Will definitely be back.

What a beautiful restaurant! The decor is so stylish and cozy. Service was top notch, everyone I talked to was lovely. I opted for the big menu and am so glad I did - delicious! And so aesthetically pleasing. Highly recommend, even if I didn't manage to finish the last few courses they all tasted great.

Had a meal here, the only problem is that we did not get to experience the Cheesecake. What an outstanding experience! Food and service were impeccable. And then, they bring you courses that you did not even know about, just flipping incredible. We were treated like royalty from the time we arrived. The service and food was deliciously tasty and the experience laced with surprises.A year down the line and we couldn't resist to book again. The second time was just as memorable as the first. Every course was delicious. We started of with Crispy Squid, Yakitori and Pork Wonton. Mains we opted for the Chicken mains, unfortunately ai cant remember which, but managed to take pictures and I couldn't resist ordering the Cicken Boa. The Green Tea recommended by our waitress was definitely a step up from the usual Jasmine tea that we usually enjoy with Asian meals.

A very nice and tastefully decorated restaurant. The waitresses were very courteous and very, very attentive! The chef knows his craft and knows what he's doing. We really enjoyed the evening.

Service is fantastic, presentation and plating is beautiful. However, although the high expectations, the food was no more than ok.There was no bad dish but no great one either.

What a big surprise! Stylish, very tasty food, great service, wow! We had a very good time there, while enjoying a asian fusion 4 course menu. The whole crew where very welcoming and friendly. We will be back next time.

Don’t miss it. Perhaps the best food in Franschoek after Le Petite Colombe. Sophisticated and beautifully presented
